<한국어 Korean translation>
For the sake of Park Shin Yang, together, hamkke, we build a consensus visible for the broadcasting stations and the CODA to see, to hear and most importantly, to feel. You and I. All the supporters and helpers here. Altogether.
We all can do the following:
Mobilize supporters to spread the news of the campaign of the month via:
– bloggers posting news on the campaign (post subject to include the monthly campaign name (please read along))
– surfers creating campaign name (read along) search tags on favourite search engines to make the campaign name on top of search lists
– supporters residing in South Korea leaving posts / messages / comments on web sites accessible by others residing in South Korea about the campaign
– contact messengers (read along) informing media (magazines / newspapers (commercial/school/community etc) / and the electronic version of such) / blogs / portals (like facebook, or daum) / discussion forums of drama fans / broadcasting stations of South Korea / CODA about the campaign
Join the Monthly Email campaign
On the 5th of the month, supporters (including overseas supporters) send email to CODA, CODA members, KBS, MBC and SBS to request ban lift. If you are a fan who belong to a fan club or a fan site, I encourage you to contact your club or site leader and see if your club or site can send one email on behalf of the members. If sending in the name of a group, be sure to let them know how many members there are in the club / site. If you don’t belong to any organization, then you can send an individual email.
The template is available in Korean, English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese . Always include Korean. Yon can optionally include one of the 3 remaining languages of your choice. ** make sure you substitute the country name in the text ** Send this to CODA, CODA members and the 3 stations on the 5th of the month.
Why the 5th of the month? The day the ban was decided by CODA was December 5, 2008. We strike on the 5th in remembrance of this decision.
Please note that Seoul, Korea is GMT+9. Therefore, to send an email to CODA et al so they receive it on the 5th, you have to know your city’s time zone. e.g. Los Angeles(USA)’s time zone is GMT-8. That means, Seoul is 17 hours ahead of you. L.A.’s Feb 4th, 07:01 AM is Seoul’s Feb 5th 00:01 AM. Click here for a quick reference check (if you don’t see your city, please use the closest one for your reference).
If you have ideas on how to help fight this ban, please contact me. Thank you!
